The series is a continuation of Matt Reeves’ 2022 film ‘The Batman’. Produced by DC Studios and Warner Bros. Television, it airs on HBO and MAX in the US, and is being released locally via Foxtel’s BINGE streaming service.
BINGE have brought the Penguin’s Maserati to the streets of Sydney to promote the new series, coinciding with the release of the first episode on Friday the 20th of September.
Its first stop was a promotional shoot at The Today Show, where host Karl Stefanovic underwent a prosthetic makeup transformation to look like The Penguin himself.
After that it made its way to the Sydney Showground in Homebush where fans could take photos with the car. It was stationed at the entrance to Oz Comic Con, for attendees of the two-day convention to take advantage of the photo-op.
BINGE is also promoting a competition where fans can post their photos with the car on social media for the chance to win a rental of the car for one weekend. Details can be found on the BINGE social media channels.
Thanks again to BINGE and Oz Comic Con for showcasing the car to fans in Sydney!
The next episode of ‘The Penguin’ releases 29th September in the US and 30th September in Australia, only on BINGE.
