Warner Bros. Pictures has announced that Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, will appear at the Opening Night Celebration of Emerald Fennell’s new film Wuthering Heights. The event will be held on the same day that the film releases to the public on Thursday, February 12 at Sydney’s State Theatre.

The Australian Premiere of Wuthering Heights will be the final publicity stop in a global tour of events that will see the film’s stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi visit audiences in Los Angeles, Paris, London, and more. The Sydney Premiere will also feature other talent from the film, including producer Josey McNamara.
The film, a bold and original take based on Emily Brontë’s classic novel, is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Written, directed and produced by Academy Award and BAFTA winner Emerald Fennell, “Wuthering Heights” is an epic romance that explores the intoxicating and forbidden passion between Cathy (Robbie) and Heathcliff (Elordi) in a sweeping tale of love, lust and madness.
Margot Robbie not only stars in the film but also serves as producer, helping to bring Emerald Fennell’s creative vision to life under her acclaimed LuckyChap banner. The film also boats an impressive creative team, including LuckyChap’s Oscar nominee and BAFTA award winning producer Josey McNamara, who will join Robbie and Elordi at the Sydney event.
Fennell directs from her own screenplay based on the novel Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, and produces alongside Oscar nominee and BAFTA award winner Josey McNamara and Robbie. Oscar nominee Tom Ackerley and Sara Desmond are executive producing.
Behind the scenes, Fennell worked with such frequent collaborators as Oscar- and BAFTA-winning director of photography Linus Sandgren, Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated production designer Suzie Davies, BAFTA-nominated editor Victoria Boydell, award-winning casting director Kharmel Cochrane and BAFTAnominated composer Anthony Willis. Wuthering Heights will release in Australian cinemas on February 12, just in time for Valentine’s Day with the ultimate romantic cinematic experience.
The Australian Opening Night Celebration will be held on the night of Thursday February 12th at The State Theatre in Sydney.
