It’s Godzilla’s 70th Birthday, marking the anniversary of the first film’s release in 1954!
Australian Screening of Godzilla 1954
To celebrate, fans fathered at screenings in Melbourne and Sydney to watch a new 4K restoration of 1954’s Godzilla. Sugoi Co, the Australian distributor of many Japanese films including Godzilla movies, held the screenings.
Delicious cupcakes featuring the bespoke 70th Anniversary logo for Godzilla were given away. Partners including Popcultcha, Headstart Toys, and Uniqlo also supported the event with free gifts for fans.
