George Miller to appear at Sydney Film Festival in Conversation about Furiosa

Director George Miller is set to appear at the 2024 Sydney Film Festival on Saturday 15th June in a talk about his new film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. He will be joined by fellow director Nash Edgerton to discuss the process behind making the monumental film.

Dr. Miller has been a co-patron supporting the Sydney Film Festival for many years. In fact, his first ever feature Violence in Cinema: Part 1 premiered at the SFF in 1971.

The event will take place at SFF’s “The Hub” which is located in the Sydney Town Hall Building. Tickets were only $15 and are already sold due to the limited number of seats.

From the official Sydney Film Festival Website:

Legendary director George Miller, one of the world’s greatest visual storytellers, will be in conversation with stuntman and filmmaker Nash Edgerton to discuss storytelling filmmaking. They’ll also unpack the execution of an action sequence from FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA.
