Every Easter Egg in the New Superman Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for James Gunn’s Superman movie has finally arrived. Along with seeing Superman in action, DC fans are also treated to a variety of character appearances from the DC Universe. We also get a glimpse of the broader storyline being set up for the DCU at large. We break all of it down below.

Gardner is a Green Lantern with years of experience, played by Nathan Fillion. He is seen wearing a Lordtech suit, owned by billionaire Maxwell Lord.

He is a genius and brillaint inventor played by Edi Gathegi. He is also part of the ad-hoc Justice League wearing Lordtech suits.

Played by Nicholas Hoult, this version of Lex is described as a scientific genius, but also genuinely evil.

Played by Anthony Carrigan, Metamorpho can change his body into any element he wishes!

Simon Stagg is the billionaire owner of the company who created Metamorpho through genetic engineering.

The Boravian news report hints at political turmoil, with troops amassing at the border.

GBS news is also the same station that appeared in Creature Commandos, the new TV Series set in the DCU.

It’s rumoured that the character who Superman is fighting in the stadium is Ultraman. He is an evil alternate version of Superman.

The citizens of Metropolis appear angry at Superman.

Superman is battle-damaged and weary. It’s possible this could be an imposter (Ultraman), or perhaps Superman has just made a mistake.

Superman’s hideout on earth. The scenes at the Fortress were filmed by James Gunn in Norway, near the Northern lights.

This could be one of the assistant robots Superman has at the Fortress of Solitude, as the Fortress can be seen in the background of the shot.
