In a sweet first of its kind collaboration, Prime Video and Black Star Pastry, creator of the world’s most Instagrammed cake, according to the NY Times – the iconic Strawberry Watermelon cake – are celebrating the upcoming premiere of the new Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell film, You’re Cordially Invited, with a special, limited-edition wedding cake. Coinciding with the release of the film, on Thursday, January 30, a Prime Video pop-up will be at the Black Star Pastry Sydney CBD store giving away free slices to the public of the new You’re Cordially Invited inspired cake for just one day.
To celebrate this exciting collaboration, Prime Video’s exclusive event at Black Star Pastry’s Sydney CBD store will take place Thursday, January 30, from midday. Be among the first 200 visitors and enjoy a complimentary slice of the limited-edition Jasmine Grape Cake.
The Jasmine Grape Cake features layers of airy chiffon, crisp green grape, and fragrant jasmine cream, elegantly decorated with piped jasmine cream and fresh green grapes with a jasmine glaze offering a visually striking and delicious treat that perfectly captures the film’s mix of humour and heart. On the creation, Head Chef, Black Star Pastry, Arnaud Vodounou said, “The Jasmine Grape Cake is our modern take on the classic wedding cake, combining elegant flavours with a contemporary twist.
